Return and Cancellation Policy

Not the right bag, wrong color, changed your mind? Here's how returns and cancellations work.

At a glance

  • Cancel before shipment: free, no restocking fee. Email orders@vitalebymyriad.com with your order number.
  • Return window: 15 days from delivery to initiate a return, 30 days total to ship it back.
  • Restocking fee: 15% on returns and exchanges. Waived for defective, incorrect, or our-error returns.
  • Refund method: original payment or store credit — your choice.
  • Non-returnable: used or damaged items, items outside the return window, final-sale and sale-code items, limited-edition items (unless defective).

Cancellations

Before your order ships

You can cancel any order that hasn't entered fulfillment. Email orders@vitalebymyriad.com as soon as possible with your order number in the subject line. If the order hasn't started processing, we'll cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Orders often move into fulfillment quickly — sometimes the same business day — so we can't guarantee we can catch it in time. If we can't cancel before it ships, the order becomes a return.

After your order ships

Once an order has shipped, it can't be cancelled. You can refuse delivery or return it under the return policy below.

Returns

What's eligible for return

You can return an item within 15 days of delivery if it's:

  • Unused, in original condition
  • In original packaging with all tags attached
  • Not marked Final Sale, not a limited-edition item, not purchased with a sale-specific discount code

How to start a return

Step 1: Email returns@vitalebymyriad.com within 15 days of delivery with your order number in the subject line and a brief reason for the return.

Step 2: We'll reply within 1 business day with a return confirmation email and instructions. If the return is due to a defect or our error, we'll include a pre-paid return label at no cost to you.

Step 3: Ship it back within 30 days. Pack the item in its original packaging and include your order number on the outside of the box. Ship to the address at the bottom of this page. Returns shipped without prior email confirmation cannot be processed.

Refunds

Restocking fee

Standard returns and exchanges are subject to a 15% restocking fee, deducted from the refund. The fee applies whether the refund is issued to the original payment method or as store credit.

The restocking fee is waived when the return is due to:

  • A manufacturing defect covered by our warranty
  • The wrong item being shipped
  • Damage in transit
  • Any other error on our part

Refund to original payment method

  • Processed within 5–7 business days of receipt and inspection
  • Credit posting time depends on your bank or card issuer
  • International orders: refund excludes original shipping cost (shipping cost itself is non-refundable)

Store credit

  • Full product value (minus 15% restocking, where applicable) credited to your Vitale by Myriad account
  • Processed within 3 business days of receipt and inspection
  • No expiration

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect or our error. For US orders, standard shipping is either free or $5 flat — the $5 is refunded only for our-error returns. For international orders, the shipping cost paid at checkout is not refunded.

Exchanges

If you'd like a different size or color, we treat exchanges as a standard return + a new order. Follow the return process above, and once your return is confirmed, place a new order for the item you want. Exchanges are subject to the same 15% restocking fee as returns.

If the exchange is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defect, damage), we cover return shipping and waive the restocking fee. Reach out to returns@vitalebymyriad.com and we'll handle it.

Defective or incorrect items

If your order arrived defective, or contains the wrong item, email returns@vitalebymyriad.com within 15 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the item and packaging
  • A brief description of the issue

We'll send a pre-paid return label and either a replacement or a full refund — whichever you prefer. No return shipping cost to you, and no restocking fee.

Note: if the item arrived damaged from shipping (crushed box, torn packaging, visible transit damage), report that within 48 hours so we can file a carrier claim. Details in our Shipping Policy.

Gift returns

If you received a Vitale by Myriad order as a gift and want to return it:

  • You'll need the order number from the gift receipt
  • Gift returns are issued as store credit to the gift recipient
  • The original purchaser is notified that the gift was returned
  • The 15% restocking fee applies to gift returns unless the return is due to a defect or our error

International returns

International customers are welcome to return eligible items under the standard 15-day / 30-day policy. A few specifics for international orders:

  • Return shipping cost is the customer's responsibility
  • Original shipping charges paid at checkout are not refundable
  • Customs duties, taxes, and import fees paid on the original order are not refundable by Vitale by Myriad — these are set by the destination country
  • The 15% restocking fee still applies to standard international returns
  • Include all customs forms with the return shipment
  • Processing may take longer than US returns

Returns we can't accept

We reserve the right to decline a return when the item:

  • Shows signs of use, wear, or alteration
  • Is returned without original packaging or tags
  • Is shipped back without prior return confirmation
  • Is returned outside the 30-day window
  • Is marked Final Sale or purchased with a sale-specific discount code
  • Is a limited-edition item (unless defective)

We also reserve the right to limit or decline returns from accounts with a pattern of excessive returns.
