Most great ideas don't start in a boardroom. They start in a moment — a real, unplanned, slightly chaotic moment where something just works. Or where something is so broken, you decide to fix it yourself.
For MaBelle Bray, both of those moments happened. And together, they built a brand.
What "By Myriad" Actually Means
Myriad: countless, multiple, limitless possibilities. That's not just a name — it's a philosophy. Every bag in the Myriad family represents multiple uses, multiple styles, and multiple possibilities. Whether you're heading to a concert, a work meeting, a weekend trip, or just running errands, there's a Myriad bag designed to move with you.
Two distinct lines. One founding vision. Here's how both came to be.
DivideNPac by Myriad: Born From a Parent's Frustration
Before there was Vitale, there was a lunchbox problem.
MaBelle was tired of packing multiple baggies — the waste, the clutter, the endless plastic. But more than that, she was watching her daughter Madison struggle with food at school. Madison didn't like her food touching. And as any parent knows, you're not putting strawberries in the same bag as chips.
The solution seemed obvious: one bag, multiple compartments, nothing touching. But that bag didn't exist. Not in a way that was practical, reusable, and actually worked.
So MaBelle built it.
She also noticed something else: when Madison had multiple separate bags, she'd never open them all. Food went uneaten. Things were wasted. A single, well-divided bag changed that — everything visible, everything accessible, nothing forgotten.
That insight became DivideNPac by Myriad — food-grade organization bags designed to eliminate waste, keep food separated, and make sure nothing gets left behind.
Vitale By Myriad: Born From an Evening Out
While deep in DivideNPac development, MaBelle had a prototype on hand: a mock-up made of canvas on one side, partial canvas and TPU on the other. Functional. Experimental. Definitely not a going-out bag.
One evening, running late and unable to find the clutch she needed, she grabbed the sample. She just needed the essentials — phone, keys, cash, credit cards, lipstick. The prototype would do.
Except it did so much more than that.
Out that evening, something unexpected happened. She could use her phone without digging for it. The bag was light, easy to carry, and effortless to navigate. Everything was easy to find — instantly, intuitively. She was hooked.
That moment planted a seed. If a rough canvas-and-TPU mock-up could feel this good, what could a beautifully designed, premium version do?
MaBelle went back to the drawing board. But as the crossbody designs evolved, something became clear — they had taken on a life of their own. A distinct feel. A different energy. Editorial, elevated, fashion-forward in a way that deserved its own identity.
So she made it official. The crossbody line was separated from DivideNPac and given its own name: Vitale By Myriad.
Vegan leather. A patented 3-compartment interior. A dedicated touchscreen phone pocket. A 180° clamshell opening that lets you find everything fast. A bag that looks like it belongs on a runway and works like it was built for your real life.
Two Problems. Two Solutions. Two Brands.
DivideNPac by Myriad was born from frustration — with waste, with chaos, with a gap in the market no one had filled. Vitale By Myriad was born from a moment of unexpected joy — the discovery that a bag could actually work for you instead of against you.
Both lines share the same DNA: real problems, thoughtful design, and the belief that the right product can genuinely improve your daily life. But each has its own world, its own voice, its own purpose.
That's what By Myriad means. Countless possibilities. Designed for real life.
